Colombia’s “Carnaval de Barranquilla” will be the topic of a writing workshop scheduled for February 11 to 16. The workshop will provide a space for debate and reflection on the importance of culture for the news agenda. If you are a journalist who covers culture, modern life or metro for print or digital media in Latin America, Spain or Portugal then you are invited to apply for one of the 14 available places. Registration costs US$370 and includes both lodging and meals. If you are from outside Colombia you may also be eligible for financial aid.
